The need to be available, even while not in the office is vital to many people. Using the Follow Me feature allows for calls placed to your desk phone to ring on multiple phones at the same time. Calls can be answered from your desk phone or another phone of your choice.
To enable Follow Me.
*** Important: You will need access to the Admin Portal to setup the Follow Me feature. If you don’t have access to the Admin Portal then contact you system administrator.
Login to your Admin Portal (Example *****.encoretg.net) using a web browser. The username is your extension number. The system administrator needs to setup the web portal password.
Once logged into the protal Select Applications from the top menu and select Call Forward from the dropdown menu.
Click on your extension number.
From the next screen you can enable all of the call forwarding options.
Select the Enabled button next to Follow Me.
Under destinations enter your extension number on the first line and the 10 digit number of the other number you wish to add.
Click Save in the upper right corner.
Follow Me should now be enabled. Once the initial setup has been completed dialing *21 plus the send button from the extension will enable and disable the feature. A recording will announce if you have enabled or disabled this call forwarding feature.
